I was deeply saddened when news of Troy's passing reached me from one of my current students. Troy was a student of mine from the 08-09 year, and was an excellent example of a bright and driven student with a world of potential ahead of him. In his courageous last moments, Troy acted selflessly, with a loved one's best interest in mind before his own. He will be dearly remembered by his friends and family; and it is these memories that will keep him alive in spirit. Bless him.
